About MCJ

Music City Judo is currently Nashville’s only judo program.

Based in Antioch at Bravo Martial Arts, we offer judo classes that focus on the sport and the martial art of judo. We focus on the mind, the body, and the spirit.

Led by Clay Morgan, a third degree black belt and former Tennessee State Judo Champion and professional licensed teacher, classes focus on the core concepts and fundamental principles of judo, including mat safety, discipline, and respect.

Judo differs from karate in several ways. Rather than punching and kicking, judo focuses on safe falling, throws and take downs, and groundwork such as pins and escapes.

It is an exciting sport practiced by tens of millions of people worldwide.
